Marc C. DuQuesne ... I'm getting Skylark of Space flashbacks now ... and I don't even know about this story. Sadly I've only been able to find the first two books of that online (Project Gutenberg) and not the second two.

I've obviously never met him either, but I've met somebody who was at a con with him, and admitted to being bemused by Ringo coming back to the con after a short trip away smelling of gun-oil.

I believe I'm the kind of hippy commie liberal that he would not approve of. :)
