Take a look at this link, and then realize that Google+ Facebook is filled with all the Evil of Facebook with the convenience of Google. Your computer will be compromised in the most user-friendly manner possible.
That is an app developed by the providers of a use-jquery-in-browser-extension framework. Given what they've done there, I'd definitely warn developers away from it, but it's not Google's fault that this thing got written.
Stay the hell away from it? Yes. Blame the Googleplex? nope.
Looks like an app coding framework to avoid like the plague. ie crosswire. Apparently it has a lot of bad habits. All of which the people maintaining the framework see as good features without thinking them through. Or they thought them through and did it anyway.
Anyway the apps underlying framework is a company to avoid apps associated with from what I can see.
