That’s what I said. And then somehow I got this one and read it in one go. The zombies are there, but it’s not about them, really. Of course it still could be not your cup of tea – parts of it are really depressing.
The Outlander Series, by Diana Gabaldon: Holy crud. Isn't this the Massive Romance Novel series featuring a time-travelling girl meeting a character originally based off of Jamie MacCrimmon, former companion of the Second Doctor?
I believe that's the one. The irony is that according to Jim Butcher Dresden Files, being urban fantasy, will be considered for a separate list, together with paranormal romance, while Gabaldon gets a place on the sf-f list…
