ER for two, please...

So, we go to the ER as directed by my doctor yesterday. They're busy looking at me, when Kathleen starts showing symptoms of the illness that's been bothering her for the past several days. I finally convince her to call the doc and get him to refer her to the ER so they can look at her too.

So... turns out she has a full-blown kidney infection, we both end up staying in the hospital until around 6:30 yesterday.

So we're both home, under the weather, she isn't supposed to do much but can't leave the housework alone, I can't move much, and right now I'm only about halfway "here" because I'm on narcotics. All I want to do is sleep. And I'm grouchy, too. :(

The nice thing about coming home from the hospital is that it beats the hell out of leaving the hospital through the basement doors, and going ALL the way home.

Hang in there, man.

Virtual hugs to you and Kathy. I hope you both heal rapidly.

Is there anything I can do for you?

Crumbs. Get well soon - from rather nearer to you than I usually am!

Yikes, I can't imagine being that sick with a new baby. You have to get a referral to go to the ER? That sucks.
