... on Saturday, Baen Books will become available as eBooks on Amazon.com.

This will eliminate the questions/comments of "why can't I get your book on Kindle" and, hopefully, significantly increase sales!

No Baen does not believe in DRM so the books will not be sold DRMed.

I knew the eBooks had been DRM free for ages: i didn't know if Amazon & the Kindle forced DRM. Glad to hear Baen could stand their ground.

No, Amazon doesn't care one way or the other. It's an individual publisher's choice as to whether to DRM their books or not.
