One thing I particularly like about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is that many of the characters employ their powers with the resourcefulness, imagination, and orneriness of at least a reasonably intelligent gamer: the battle between Jotaro, Iggy, and N'Doul and the manner in which Kakyoin warns Jotaro of the nature of Dio's Stand come to mind, as does Jolyne's creative use of the ability to...unwind herself into filaments, which isn't exactly on your average Munchkin's wishlist of Kewl Powerz.
