And the only cure is to inflict it on others.

Apparently I missed this thing the first time around, but now it's reached me.

Oh, what IS it? This insidiously perky Swedish poptune called "Caramelldansen" (the Caramel Dance). I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD! I"M DOING THE DANCE! WATCH AND BE DESTROYED!

I listened to that for about four hours on loop today.

It didn't help. Now I just have the wrong lyrics in my brains.

Hrm, it seems that they are actually singing English, although the pronunciation is so far from normal that it's hard to make out most of the words.

I once got an earworm, and tried to combat it by thinking of another song in a completely different style. It did not work, I was then running two songs. Did I give up?! NO, oc course not! I started another tune, in another style. My brain overloaded at 6 tunes. It became hard to walk straight.

MWAAHAHAHAHAA!!!

They're singing in Swedish. Here's one link where they show the Swedish words onscreen as the song plays:

You must send us the Doctor Who one. :)

The original song is Swedish, although the way it's sped up it's hard to tell. This claims to be the "original" video, although according to the Wikipedia page the term "original" in this case is a bit fuzzy:

But there is also a version of this video with a loose translation of the lyrics into English:

This page has the original Swedish lyrics and a fairly literal English translation.
