Depends on the rules for entry, so to speak. Do I have to be purely myself with no special additions/consideration for the fact that I'm not really suited for travelling? Or do I, like the usual story-version of this, have some kind of special talent or ability, or get kicked up a notch to be able to deal with things?
Leaving aside the most direct consideration -- I wouldn't go to any realm where I have to leave my family behind -- I'd say my own world of Zarathan. There, even as "just me" I have... rather clear behind-the-scenes knowledge that I could use to great effect.
Other than that... maybe Oz. There's plenty I might like to visit if I had the right powers or backup, but without that I'd want to play things safe.

Which one?
I started in engineering, and eventually got an Associate's in Mathematics and Science. I've used that in a lot of places -- math is very useful and knowing something about the sciences, ditto.
I then went into Psychology, and got a Bachelor of Arts (why it wasn't science, I don't know -- they CALLED it a science) in Psychology (with a focus on perceptual psych). That's been useful in a number of areas.
Finally I got a Master's of Science in Information Science, which I've certainly used in multiple areas.
So yes, I used them all for my career, even if (A) I didn't really HAVE a career until recently, and (B) none of them were EXACTLY what the career called for.

Someone who does not WANT to be President, but who will serve if called.
I think high-level politics should be very Zen. Those who wish to be president or senator or representative are not qualified, because of that desire. Those who do not wish that job, may be qualified.

Nov. 22nd, 2011 07:34 pmIs this even possible to ANSWER with such a broad field? I mean, really, my favorite rock band is classic Rush, but how should I decide that Rush is (or isn't) better than Beethoven, or Yoko Kanno, or Barbra Streisand, or Mark O'Connor? They're not even really comparable.[Error: unknown template qotd]
