anesthesia and I dont get along very well... plus it makes food taste like crap for months afterwards.

Interesting. Most anaesthetics have to WORK to knock me out, and after the obligatory 3-4 hours of feeling like crap following being knocked out, the only lingering effects I've noticed is that I have to kickstart my digestive system to doing that whole "stuff has to go all the way through" bit. Insofar as eating, etc., no effect.
