It originally came from my dad's place of work (he was a pharmacologist and professor for Albany Medical College), so for him it was professional. I used to read it when I had to stay out of school and he brought me to work. It was my favorite set of books from the time I was about 7 or so.

But nowadays, when much of my life is online as the Sea Wasp, I have to wonder if there's a certain professional component to my having the books that GAVE me the name.

(I know no one else has these; the three-book set was issued just once, and cost -- when issued -- about $3,000).

Well, that IS what I said in the prior posting ;), so yes. I have to re-scan in that picture so I can use it as my icon.

In an alternate universe, I chose and stuck with "Cone Shell". Here, I used that one only a relatively few times (like for a year or so). So if/when Jason or someone in that universe mentions the Cone Shell, you know who's doing a subtle Mary Sue.

(I also have a blatant one, but he won't show up for a while.)
