My dream car is 100% rustproof, is the size of a full-size van, and runs on nothing but tapwater, getting 100mpg.

If I had the money, yes, I'd buy a new car, probably a full-size van, because I've got a family of 6.

If you mean by magically cracking water I can't be of help. You'll need an input of energy from somewhere. With an input of energy you can have this steam car.

The last of a breed. 1914 zero to 60 in 15 seconds. 90 second warm up and runs on kerosene. It was promising but the company imploded from mechanical issues and stupid human quirks. They did recover but not in time.

It is the ultimate steampunk car.

Well, if we're going to that extent, my "dream car" is the ability to teleport, with global range, taking with me anyone or anything I choose.

On a more mundane note, I drive a Toyota Tacoma, and my only beef with it is that the model year after I bought mine they finally put in a decent set of tie-downs in the bed. Aside from that I've been quite happy with it.

Not the car for someone with a large family, though. Well, possibly as a second car.

Only 100 mpg? Sheesh. You need that fusion reactor overhauled (and that's the only way a car will run off tapwater)

Optimistically, I'd like a teleporter, plz.

Pessimistically, if a large lump of money fell on my head, I'd probably buy a stick-shift equipped Volvo V70R. Looks like a boring Volvo estate but does 0-60 in 5.9 seconds; it's the pursuit car of choice for British traffic police on account of being able to run down your average Porsche while carrying four cops and a boot full of equipment.

If it runs on tapwater, I'd be fine with 40 mpg or less.
