Think Good Thoughts...

... I have a couple of projects which are waiting for approval or denial from the relevant government agencies, and getting them approved would be EXTREMELY good for not just me, but a lot of other people here at IEM (and, I should add, are really Kewl Projects that I just want to see go forward because they'll be fun). As I'm not religious and can't pray really, all I can do is ask for some positive thinking in that direction. :)

Tech Needs: LCD shutter/window?

I know I've seen such devices before, but searching only gives me references to stereo glasses using LCD shutters, and to room-sized LCD windows. I'm looking for small LCD panels that can just be switched from opaque to transparent; preferable size, large fractions of an inch (1/4 to 1/2 inch for the window itself). Anyone know where I could get these devices?
