4700 words in just under four actual hours of writing time. About 1200 words per hour.

Now if I can just write a few thousand more tomorrow (another $#(% birthday is going to cut into my writing time)...

Mine isn't until the 21st. And I wouldn't let MY birthday take my own writing time away. I have no social obligations to me.
