Sep. 8th, 2009 08:55 pmI'm frustrated with the state of salad dressings. A little while ago, Cain's put out a new line of "Healthy Choice" dressings. This included Parmesan Peppercorn, my favorite flavor.
Except that the "Healthy Choice" version literally smelled and tasted... Well, like vomit.
Well, no biggie, I think, I'll just keep buying the original.
Except it appears they stopped making the regular. As did Ken's.
The fact is that the best Parm Peppercorn dressing I ever had was at a chain steakhouse called Hoss'; but eventje acceptable substitutes have gotten harder to find.
So, now I'm wondering if I should just MAKE it. But how do I know which recipe to use?
