A Revelation!

In his reading journeys, aardy  has come to a brilliant realization that I had completely missed.

Edmond Dantes, the Count of Monte-Cristo, is the G*DD*MN BATMAN. Just in 19th-century France. Or maybe even XANATOS G*DD*MN BATMAN, given how he uses plots within plots within plots to destroy the people who ruined his life, helped kill off his parents, and took his fiancee.

And THERE is how you could sell the book to a whole new generation! It's BRILLIANT! (All according to plan...)

Mr. Incredible. I have a photo of myself in that costume and I am pretty much a match for the "out of shape" Mr. Incredible. Gimme a good trainer and I'd likely become bulked enough to make the cut for the in-training Mr. Incredible (my ancestry on both sides would favor it). So shoot the first part first and then train me up for the later part. AND it would be a fun role that I could play well.
