One of the Greats is now gone.

As pointed out by james_nicoll and others, Ray Harryhausen has died.

His work inspired generations, and was a true bit of magic that Hollywood was transformed by.

Farewell, Mr. Harryhausen; you leave a greater legacy than most will ever know.
