Hugo Nominations open!

  The nominations are now open for the Hugo, JWC, and 1939 retro-Hugo awards. As I posted in my Hugo Reminder Fantasy post, the three works of mine published first in 2013 and thus eligible are Spheres of Influence, sequel to Grand Central Arena; Portal, final book in the Boundary trilogy; and Skyspark, a short First Contact story set in the Boundaryverse.

  Of other works, I would also recommend (to go for something less well known) Harry Connolly's King Khan, which I found an absolutely AMAZING romp; I expected it to be good, knowing Harry, but it surpassed my expectations on every level.
