Date: 2011-02-28 01:54 pm (UTC)The sequels (especially _The Jennifer Morgue_ and _The Fuller Memorandum_) include a few entities that fall outside the abominable horrors, but there are not too many of them. TFM is also noticably darker than the beginning of the series.
