Kathy's back...

She hurts a lot and the post-anesthesia wonkiness is slowly going away, but she's doing well so far. Thanks for all the good wishes. Hopefully she'll be healed soon. I'd thought they did it all through one little incision but she actually has three (one frickin' LASER, one for the camera, and one for the device that took out the pieces.

I am sorry she is going through this. I know it hurts like hell afterwards even though many say it isn't that bad. It was for me.

Well, using three makes certain they won't interfere with each other - makes a lot of sense. Glad to hear she's doing well and continued best wishes for her and you.

More Best Wishes

I hope the recovery goes well, and everything stays fine.

Huh, I got five. They go nicely with the big splenectomy scar and the bleached spots from when I had shingles.

She'll be sore for a day or two, so dote on her, and obey every whim!

Laser? Does your insurance cover the implantation of advanced weaponry?

Seriously, I'm glad to hear she's on the mend.

I am so sorry to hear about her illness. I knew you weren't feeling the best, so I kind of stayed away. when I'm sick, I like to go hide under the covers. How are you doing?

Mine had five little go-in spots, spaced around my abdomen's front. One of them got a little bulb hanging out of it for a couple weeks afterwards to collect some sort of light orange/coral/salmon fluid drippings. Glad to hear things went fairly well, even this long afterwards.
