Today's Sinfest is giving the Devil Himself character development. And in an EXTREMELY interesting direction.

For what used to seem to be a strange gag-a-day strip, this webcomic has built a very bizarrely coherent and self-referential universe.

Makes a great deal of sense in that universe, yes. Though this kind of a turn runs the risk of potentially forcing big D to look at HIMSELF.

One of my favorite 'gotta-read, gotta-read' webcomics, among several. There is enough piquancy for most everyone, from the conflicted 'demoness with the forbidden love' to the stereotypical-with-a-twist couch-pig, the male chauvinist role model and the female-rights activist, and also sock-puppets in the sky.

From the sweet to the bitter-sweet. Great food for thought.
