I'm heading out tomorrow for a conference in Washington, DC (well, actually, Crystal City, but same area). I won't be back until late Wednesday.

And today my Precioussss, my computer, decides it no longer has need of a recharging board.

So it's in the shop, and won't be done until I'm  gone, so for the first time in a long time I will be several days without any access to my Email, and only sporadic access to LJ or the web in general.

Just so everyone knows.

Oh no! I hope you don't go into digital withdrawal. Do you at least have stuff to read?

Netbooks may not be all that good, but this is the situation that I got mine for! Away from home for a week or more and it does the job just fine! Well except for the crap keyboard! If I was still working, I'd buy you one and send it to you!

It's pretty easy to migrate your bookmarks, passwords etc to the other machine, in most cases! What I can't migrate I cn hand copy over! then again I am a Linux user and your experience with Windows may vary! 8-) Firefox and Thunderbird allow me to use the master password to retrieve my stored passwords, so I can put them on my netbook, if I want to! Though mostly I don't want them on that machine, I have watched to many internet videos of laptops being stolen to do that!
