Does one follow from the other? I find reading plays (and scripts in general) to lie somewhere between boring and hateful. I *loathed* reading Hamlet in high school. Yet, I quite thoroughly enjoyed several of the movie adapatations including the Mel Gibson/Glen Close version which follows the less popular, incestuous interpretation of the story.
