Tech Needs: LCD shutter/window?

I know I've seen such devices before, but searching only gives me references to stereo glasses using LCD shutters, and to room-sized LCD windows. I'm looking for small LCD panels that can just be switched from opaque to transparent; preferable size, large fractions of an inch (1/4 to 1/2 inch for the window itself). Anyone know where I could get these devices?

look for switchable, switchable glazing, or lcd windows. i believe that THESE GUYS are even located in your home town.

The others, even if they knew what an LCD window was, would be giving me exactly what I *DON'T* want -- a house-size window. I want something about a quarter-inch on a side.

Got it now. I was either having a firewall problem or a cookie problem I think.

I could see and read the older posts, (including the friends locked parts), but nothing after April 14.

Now I can read it all again up to todays date.
