... that I get all the responses I can (pro and con and meh) on the Arenaverse RPG survey. I'm trying to get a good idea as to the PROPORTION of my readership that plays RPGs and thus might be interested in such a thing.

The overall SIZE of the response may also affect whether I do a Kickstarter for a new Arenaverse NOVEL.

Alas, 20 years ago it'd have been "take my money". 10 years ago, It'd have been "probably buy". Now? I don't have anybody to game *with* :-(

Well, I'll note that I've supported and purchased at least two RPGs in the last few years which I have no players for and probably never will, simply because their source material or origin was that cool. Several more in years before that. I buy and read RPGs because it's cool. And of course for RPGs adopted from source material I like, often there's new material about the setting that I'll never get anywhere else.

This is pretty much my position. The idea is interesting in the abstract, but I'm not actually in any RPGs at the moment much less looking for new ones.

Thanks for the clarification; I'm a reader but have no interest in RPGs, so I hadn't responded until now.
