Date: 2007-04-21 04:57 pm (UTC)Early in the attack, you see an American wearing the shoulder rank of a USAF Chief Master Sergeant, a rank that did not exist until 1959. (The USAF didn't exist until 1947, during WWII the USAAF used Army ranks.)
Also, despite obviously being in the Pacific, and in June 1943, the fighters are P-51Ds bearing the zebra striping of planes used in the D-Day invasion.
