Anyone know OmniGraffle?
Nov. 29th, 2007 10:11 pmI don't have a Mac version of Visio, but OmniGraffle looked like it should be very similar, and so it seems, but... there's some things I can do real easy in Visio which I can't seem to figure out how to do at all in OmniGraffle. Anyone out there know it?

Date: 2007-12-11 09:03 am (UTC)I know this is TOTALLY random and creepy, but anyway. I was pointlessly ranting on Italian fandom on my own journal when out of the blue I remembered this piece of Saint Seiya fanfiction I read... MANY YEARS AGO. A quick google brought me here, so, yeah, with about 10 years of delay (during which my English proficiency has greatly improved, so maybe I wouldn't have been able to send you even a 'thank you' at that time. I was about 16 years old.) I wanted to thank you for 'Wildcard' and all of its annexes. At the time I read those eagerly even though my English wasn't that good (I think I had to look up half the words) and my printer was even worse (it was so long that I had to print the whole story, otherwise my family would have killed me for hogging the computer all day long).
So... to keep this at the lowest possible percentage of creepiness, I'll end here. Thank you again, and have a good day ^_^
Julie
P.S. I see that you're a published author now, that's just great!
Not...
Date: 2007-12-12 02:36 am (UTC)I'm glad you liked Wild Card; I enjoyed writing it with my then-girlfriend, now wife of 12 years Kathleen. The other stories in that series which were made available at one point or another were Resurrection (5 parts: Requiem, Rebirth, Ghosts, Awakening, and Meteor), Cry Wolf!, Fallen Angel (entirely Kathleen's work), and -- some years later -- Snow Queen.
The villain of Cry Wolf!, Virigar the Werewolf King, makes an appearance in my first published work, Digital Knight, and is projected to make a few more appearances in other stories. Erik Nygard will likely show up in a story or two, although he won't be Windlash in those. Alas, I can't actually use the Saints themselves except as inspiration... although Danielle Lanier (renamed Danielle Lumiere) exists in my writing universe.
Thanks for writing!
