WTF? FBI?

This afternoon, SOMETHING happened right here in my neighborhood. Police ... and one huge buttload of FBI cars -- a dozen, more -- covering this entire block, according to Kathleen (and the police officer she was talking to). None of the news agencies have ANYTHING on it; when I called Capital News 9, they knew that SOMETHING was happening, but apparently whatever they overheard told them nothing. TV 10 didn't even know it was happening until I called them.

Very curious.

Not necessarily. If what Ryk saw was part of an ongoing event, the FBI may have placed a blackout on the local news until their sweep has ended. We saw that a couple of times out here.

I'm guessing big drug bust, or an attempt at it.

The only problem I have with that theory is that there wasn't a sign of DEA or even ATF people around. Just cops and people the police said were FBI (which, generally, means either FBI or ohe of the other spook agencies that prefers not to announce their presence).
