Hitting a rough patch at work. I had two Phase II proposals out under consideration. I now only have one; the one I thought had the best chance of going through just came back rejected. That's bad news for me and the company both. I get judged based on how much money I bring in to the company, and of course bringing in new work is necessary to keep the company running. Right now we have one active Phase II and a few other smaller contracts. I really REALLY need the second one to come through. I'm really bummed out about losing this one because it was also one of the most interesting and exciting projects we had.

:(
Going to see Dragonball now.

Oh my goodness. Man, you do have my prayers - as well as some genuine commiseration. While I don't do proposals myself, I am in contracts and I know exactly what you're talking about. At least it's big enough that usually one proposal doesn't make or break things, but the company lost out on a big thing just last week. You'll have seen it in the news. That doesn't help anything. :/

Hang in there - I'm pulling for you.

Proposer's side, if I get you correctly. I'm actually contract manager/negotiator. My/our contracts are almost all with the USG.
