I am used to having someone (i.e., Kathy) sleeping with me. And of course my own pillows, etc. So I didn't sleep very well last night. Must apply electricity and reboot my brain. It's alive, ALIVE, MUAAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Just wanted to say that I found you on Livejournal by accident and wanted to say hi. Your Saint Seiya fanfics were the first I ever read and still hold somewhat of a special place in my heart. Good to hear you are still alive and still writing. I'll add you to my friend list and thus check in regularly.
They still hold a special place in mine as well. (A "new" one was added about a year ago -- "Snow Queen") While I doubt they'll ever be finished now, they performed valuable services for me as a writer, and pieces of them definitely show up in my writing; if you read "Cry Wolf!" you will see the same villain in "Digital Knight".
Oh, I don't think I saw that one yet, Snow Queen. Is it on your current site? I'll definitely go check it out and give you my comments on both that and Digital Knight when I read them ^_^ (and on any other of your writings I might stumble upon in that time). BTW, I read in your bio that you are now a published writer, under what name are you published? I'll definitely check out the bookshop later on then :)
My Real Name is Ryk E. Spoor, and that is the name under which "Digital Knight" and (upcoming) Mountain Magic (featuring a story by me and Eric Flint titled "Diamonds Are Forever") have been published.
Note that all the Saint Seiya stories are co-written -- me and my wife. In general, Kathleen does the viewpoints of Seiya, Shun, Saori, and Hyoga, while I do Eric, Shiryu, and Ikki and, usually, villain points of view.
My wife worked as a consultant for many years, and while traveling she developed a technique whereby she made a fake me out of pillows. She would put one on each side of the bed, in case she needed to turn over and cuddle. So easily replaced.
