2) Ones which pay for me to be there. (thus far this has been zero, but one can always hope)
I can't afford to travel on my own dime much, and my family would frown on my disappearing for long weekends anyway.
This particular year, alas, I will not be present at Albacon for the first time since I was published, as Kathleen (my wife) is due to have a baby right around that time.
