It's true I stopped listening to the radio, but not 30 years ago. About 20, I'd say, once I got to the point I could carry a CD player with me and especially once I could make my own CDs.

SOME of them I've heard of, but others are completely unknown. Of course, I'm not going to remember their names if I've heard the song but IGNORED it because it sucked.

I. Music Of the double handful I’ve even heard of, I will happily listen to Norah Jones, Beyoncé, Queen, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, and Billy Joel. Possibly Gorillaz - I gather there has been more than one band of that name. (What I want to know is if they go back to The Beatles, why no Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons Project or Simon and Garfunkel?) For that matter, Rasputina, iirc the only band I ever bought and wore the T-shirt for.
