Reload page in style: site light

It is that time of the year, and I will be at Genericon at RPI on the weekend of the 12th-14th (although the 14th is of course Valentine's Day so don't expect me at the Con for any length of time that day, especially if we can find a sitter). I would expect to be seen often at my usual table in the Grand Hall, and I am HOPING to be able to premiere a new, longer "trailer" for Grand Central Arena at the convention.

If it goes according to the usual schedule, the first half of GCA will be available at Webscriptions no later than the 15th.

Considering they STILL haven't given me the galleys that's a bit interesting.

They'll do an update (3/4 of the book) in March, and the full thing in April, so it will be easy for them to change to the corrected text.

Oh yeah, no pressure...

I finished two shots of animation last night, and will hopefully get a third set up this evening that can render overnight. Then I'll have one or two more...the one I'd like to do will have animated characters so I'm not sure I'll be able to get that done.

Wow! I had no idea you were contemplating something that ambitious, but it's certainly gratifying and whatever you can get finished, I'll find a way to use. Not really any pressure, though -- if you can't get it done by then, you can't; neither of us would want something that you weren't satisfied with going up.

Are you doing your own character models, or are you borrowing

marydell's? Or making your own based on those images?

(also, did you get my Email with Eric's message RE: the Threshold images?)

I can imitate Mary's easily enough (I instantly recognized what she used, and I have it, or at least most of it), but I haven't really given it that much thought yet. Most of what I'm planning will be fairly blurry due to fast movement so it doesn't have to be an exact match. Can't guarantee I'll get it done because I haven't tried that particular combination of software packages before.
