Albacon Update...
Oct. 7th, 2008 07:37 pmThe bad news is that Anne McCaffrey, the scheduled GoH, will not be able to attend. Apparently she isn't well (I don' t know the details) and thus taking a long flight to the States would be, well. stupid.
That's a big disappointment for me of course -- I really wanted to meet her in person -- and I'm sure it'll be a blow to a lot of congoers, many of whom probably won't find out until they get there. But, hey, *I* will still be there! :)
