seawasp: (A Disbelieving Doctor)
Going over the 09.3 DOD SBIR solicitation topics today, I found the following sentence in a topic for improving the performance of IR sensors (emphasis added):

" Recent advances in room temperature superconducting polymers and optically tuned crystalline structures offer the possibility of dramatically improving sensor sensitivity toward that of modern cooled sensors without the size, weight, cost, power, and reliability penalties associated with cryogenic cooling. "

The only stuff I've seen on ANYTHING like that is a pretty obvious scammer/speculator hooking site on "ultraconductors" which AFAICT has been around since 2003 at least and "on the verge of commercialization" all that time. It's also linked with what appear to be ZPE-generator loons.

I seem to remember that NWN was supposed to contain an application for making modules, but I can't seem to FIND it on my system. Where is it, what is it called, how do I start it up? Anyone? Beuller?
