It would destroy our lives, especially any modern production lines. Anything that uses, or is related to, computers. Virtually all devices we use today require a built-in clock that tracks every signal, synchronizes every pulse, and does so to a precision that would have made the precision watchmakers of a century ago gag in disbelief.
Your car -- even a non-computerized car -- requires a timing belt or is at least adjusted to precision timing in operation.
