Thirty Days of Fanfic Meme!

Blame jeriendhal  for this. I'll be following one day behind, basically.

1 – How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?


That would be Star Trek. (The Only Series, as jeriendhal  says). I wrote a couple of Trekfics in my early high school years. What, exactly, they were about, I don't remember clearly, except that at least one of them featured a fairly classic Mary Sue (or Marty Stu) character. Another I don't recall having any original character as mains, just the regular triumvirate, but I can't remember much of the plot, if any.  I'd written some other stuff INSPIRED by other people's works, but no actual fanfic that I can recall prior to that point.
