Been up since 3:50.

Could breathe somewhat better after shower. Still can't breathe WELL.

Have to go in and finish presentation. Not sure I'll actually be able to GIVE it, though.

I really, REALLY don't want to be taking prednisone. Maybe one of those nebulizer treatments would help. Have to get one.

Prednisone does suck...a couple of ideas...I have been told that humming for about 2 minutes helps to relieve the inflammation of your bronchial tubes that causes asthma...my youngest son has severe asthma, and that does seem to help. Also, Claritin is over the counter these days and works for some asthmatics, and if you can get a prescription for it, Singulair also does a great job.

My men both use the inhalers Ventolin and Pulmicort for their asthma. Alby uses Pulmicort on daily basis and we have to add Ventolin if he coughs a lot. Husband uses Ventolin if he has trouble and adds Pulmicort if the trouble lasts.
