A brand new kit that lets you make robots just by snapping cubes together.

Just one tiny little hitch: as it's a brand new first release, the kit is $300.

But if this works as they imply, it'll end up being HUGE.

Hm, physical function composition. I suspect one would find its limits very quickly. Certainly makes it easy to get started though.

You can do far more with the similarly priced Lego Mindstorms NXT kit — but you don't get the "just plug it together and it will do something"; you'd have to write a program that implements the same connections in software. (I assume; I haven't actually looked at the software Lego is shipping these days.)
