seawaspYes, I have diverticulitis again. On the positive side, it appears that I have caught it earlier and they have sent me home with a bunch of prescriptions rather than shove me into the hospital on a liquid-only diet for three days and tubes in my arm. (I've had tubes in my arm, yes, but only for a short time.
Still, I feel like crap, and given medicine delay I'll probably feel even worse by the evening before I start getting better, and I'm out of work per the doctor's instructions until Wednesday. Fun fun fun.

Date: 2011-01-02 08:54 pm (UTC)My doctor dad-in-law from 400 miles away diagnosed the problem over the -phone- - called in a prescription for Floxin - and I was feeling human again within 2 days.
A 2nd vote for diet modification. Or at least a call to add more fiber. [Thankfully I like broccoli and whole wheat already ^_^]
