Date: 2011-02-22 04:10 am (UTC)If I thought it was remotely relevant to the filmmakers, I would point out to them that the theology is all kinds of wrong. But I'm pretty sure they know that and don't care.
However, most of the Youtube comments seem to be along the lines of, "Yeah! Christians suck!" so perhaps I will direct my observation to them: seriously, dudes, nobody actually thinks it works that way. Not Norse pagans, not Christians, nobody.

According to their own outlandish beliefs, if they die saying something sensible, they are compelled to spend a hellish eternity of actual conversation over hearty drink and gourmet meals in the dreaded regions of Ponceheim; whereas if they fall frothing, they shall rejoice forever in the Great Flamewar in the Sky, where every drink is supercaffeinated and all the chow is perfectly aerodynamic popcorn.
