However, repeating it may not be wise without actual official participation; a one-off joke will be ignored, but the same guy doing stunt signs multiple times may well make the gendarmes suspicious that you're just a bum who's a little smarter than the average bear.

Date: 2011-05-23 02:23 am (UTC)Saturday afternoon I smiled and waved to some guys passing by and only then noticed the shoulder patch one was wearing. It was an unmarked police car with not less than three cops. I guess they thought I was harmless!
