I say Norma Jeane Mortenson is a poor example for recommending a name change. I think she could have kept her name, or at worst dropped her last name, and she'd have still been the blond sex symbol everyone remembers.

Marion Morrison, on the other hand, might have had a shorter film career. But maybe not.
