9 – Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?
Well, for most of them there WEREN'T any. I did actually note the "pairing" in Harrison Bergeron and expand on who she was and why he chose her a bit more, but that was about it. Until Saint Seiya/Samurai Troopers/DBZ.
Undoubtedly my favorite "pairing" there was Erik Nygard and Andromeda Shun. The relationship was... complicated, but the two WORKED at making it work, partly because neither of them ever had many doubts about the other's caring for them.
Seiya and Danielle was probably my second favorite, probably because it played off Seiya's destined pairing with Saori -- and forced Saori to change for the better, too.
There were a bunch of others in that universe; probably the other one most prominent was Son Goku and Senator MacLain (yes, THAT senator MacLain, for readers of DK; that aspect of Thorn's life on Earth was directly drawn from the game and fic events).
The Terminators/Jane Austen story, being naturally a romance, focused on the relationship between Mr. Terminus and Patience. Mr. Connor would have gotten his own lady, of course, but we didn't get that far.
