Date: 2004-01-09 04:53 am (UTC)That was well done, the tale of Bombadil and the One Lens, err Ring. It takes a truly exceptional mind to fuse JRR. Tolkien, EE "Doc" Smith, and Dr. Seuss into a single whole. I think it is safe to say that you are fast approaching, if you have not already reached, the Third Stage.
I read your book today, and enjoyed it. Oddly enough I got here from the Bar (in a roundabout fashion) and was surprised to discover you had an LJ.
Good luck with future books.

Date: 2004-01-15 08:40 pm (UTC)The LJ is a very new thing for me. I actually started keeping one after I encountered a reference to Digital Knight in StClairs LJ.
BTW, if there's any evidence of my Third Stage candidacy, it'd either be from my "Doc Smith Fashion" pastiche or my collaboration with Brenda Clough "Terminators of Endearment, or Pride and Extreme Prejudice", the latter crossing Jane Austen and the Terminator movies.
