*FURY AND RAGE*

I am rarely given to cold fury. I can WRITE about it, but I find anger, in most cases, to be a waste of energy.

However, the following was posted by somone on my FB friendslist:

This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish. And send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities.



Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.The following is his reply:

Theologically - no.. Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon god of Arabia .

Religiously - no... Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam. (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)

Scripturally - no... Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically - no.. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no... Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no.... Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.

Domestically - no... Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him. (Quran 4:34 )

Intellectually - no.. Because he cannot accept the AmericanConstitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no... Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no... Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' The Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. - - - They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and 'good' Americans. Call it what you wish it's still the truth.. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.
The religious war is bigger than we know or understand!

Footnote: The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within.
SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

THE MARINES WANT THIS TO ROLL ALL OVER THE U.S.

I was gobsmacked reading this and especially the concluding paragraphs. This is exactly the kind of thing said about the Japanese back before and during WWII. It is exactly the sort of argument used against the Jews in Germany prior to WWII.

I have just posted that anyone who believes this should unfriend me on Facebook. I mean that to extend to here as well.

These kind of sentiments are antithetical to the essence of America. They are also PERSONALLY offensive to me as they imply that my boss, the man who hired me on nothing more than a single answer to a single question, whose tireless efforts have improved my life and those of his many employees, whose business is BUILT on the most American of industries -- the railroads -- and who does a lot of work for the Department of Defense in multiple areas, that THIS MAN should be watched with suspicion just because he believes in a slightly different version of the One God.

There certainly are bad Muslims. 9/11 proved that.

But stuff like this? This is the kind of thing that makes US into the bad guys, and makes their hatred of us eventually BECOME universal.

If the above quoted material is what you believe, please unfriend me. It'll be easier for everyone.

Hi - still here!

That post ... just ... [head desk]. How is it that other allegedly sentient, air-breathing humans can be like that? Just put a tattoo on -everyone's- head that says 'danger, human' and be done with it.

Everyone has a capacity for good actions, evil actions or just plain stupidity. This was just pouring lighter fluid on an entire faction and acting like you don't expect a fire.

Unfortunately, I've seen entirely too much of this attitude, especially in the Army (I'm active duty until my contract runs out next month). One of the best soldiers I know has been having all sorts of trouble getting his security clearance upgraded to be a linguist because he is a) Palestinian b) Islamic and c) his first name is Osama. The man is one of the most intelligent and nicest people I've ever worked with, and seeing shit like this makes me want to hurt people.

Discrimination in any form makes my Blood boil! We are all people and should be judged as such one by one! In my 67 years I have seen some things change for the better in this country, but they still have a ways to go and there are still those that don't GET what it means to be "American"!

The level of FAIL in shit like this blows my head away. If we judged Christians and Jews on every line of the Bible and Torah you could say the same shit about us. After all, based on the Bible and Torah Jews and Christians keep slaves, stone people to death, have their first allegiance to a Semetic sun god, I could go on.

Then add in the historical fail - like 'under God' being added in the 1950s and so not being an inherent part of being American, and the fact that the writers of the constitution were mostly deists who didn't believe in the Biblical god... seriously, has the Treaty of Tripoli just been wiped out of existence? "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion..."

Seriously.

You are entirely right - our friends lists are better off without people like this.
