I quite enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins. I played all six openings through to the point where they converge, and then I waffled a bit before ultimately going with the (female) City Elf story.

I ended up putting what's-her-name on the throne. I tried to set up an arranged marriage between her and Alistair, but Alistair got pissed off at me and ran off.

I still have Awakening and Dragon Age II on my to-play list.

Awakening was fun, but the thing that turned me off from buying DAII was that they REMOVED one of the primary attractions of the original -- namely, the multiple character options. DAII has a fixed protagonist.

The one thing that really, really pissed me off about Dragon Age is the bugs that never got fixed on the Xbox version. There are a bunch, some of which make certain class choices -- like dagger rogues -- non-viable in the end game.

I feel your pain, with the current PS3 woes of Skyrim, wherein at the moment it's not clear whether ANY of the additional DLC will become available for us.
