After a long and valiant battle with cancer, Ann Crispin has passed away.
Perhaps best known for her tie-in novels (Star Trek, V, and others), Ann also was a founder of Writer Beware, one of the most reliable and important sites for helping authors steer clear of scammers and crooks of all types.
I salute her passing; she even knew it was coming soon and posted a farewell a couple of days ago.
