Date: 2014-01-10 03:16 pm (UTC)On a note related to the mind-screwiness, another game for the DS worth checking out is "Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors". It is a linear story but it is presented in a parallel fashion. That is, you learn things on your first play-through that become necessary for progressing through other paths. Think of it as a kind of time travel story where what you do and learn on Branch A provides what you need to progress through Branch B and so forth until you unlock and complete the true ending. There's an iOS remix due out in the US this year.
