While I have not seen the film -- and have no intention of doing so -- my take on the problem isn't that Superman kills. My take on it is that the people responsible for writing Superman into that corner either don't get Superman or don't care to get Superman. Its the same problem that I have with the two J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" films. I have certain expectations when Superman is depicted on the tin. This film, by all accounts, would fail to meet those expectations.
