I think I first saw this on HBO?? It almost became a Christmas Tradition, my neighbor's kids would come over to watch it. ( we were the only neighbor who had a Betamax: the rest had VHS)

Well, I'm talking about the original comic; the TV show had... nothing, really, to do with the original except some names and such.

I'd all but forgotten about the comic....

My dad had that book (it was definitely quite the toe-breaker), and I read it a couple times as a kid & thoroughly enjoyed it, but ended up being much more strongly drawn to his collections of Alex Raymond's Flash Gordon strips and early Superman comics.

"Killer" Kane... which brother was that--Coe, or Nova? (I groaned audibly when I first realized the awful puns in those names, and still groan inwardly whenever I think about them.)
